Nest hub 2 widget problem's

Does anyone know how to get the display of the "your xxxxxxx" page to display to  what is actually shown in the advertising material/box art. I have a bunch of widgets i don't need that keep appearing and have no way to add my light or perminently resize the music widget.

The best example of this is the fact that it removed the media widget without any of my input.  So now i have to navigate all the way to the media page to play my music before it would return. 

I already contacted support and sadly they simply said it's not possible but I'm hoping someone has a solution. 

I'll be greatful for any suggestions or advice because at this point I'm just ready to get the device refunded as if it can't display the exact layout of the box, i feel that's false advertising.

Update. It now has a light widget so the person from support clearly lied to me about the ability to display one. However i still can't Rid of widgets i don't need like contacts and top stories and I'm sure they'll just remove it later for some fruitless reason.  The fact they force these with no ability to remove them is incredibly stupid

Our devices update from time to time. Displays and options change each and every firmware update.

To remove cards from your screen, press and hold a card. Note: You can dismiss some cards, but not all of them. If you dismiss cards for alarms, timers and local media playback sessions on your Nest display, you end these activities. If you dismiss cards for remote playback sessions on other speakers or smart displays, you don't end the playback session. When you’re ready, you can end the playback session on the remote device, or you can retrieve the media controls through the Media page. Or, on the Home control page, tap the “Speakers and TVs” card to control media that plays on any device in your home.

Let us know if this step works.

Sadly not really as there seems to be no way to remove majority of the widgets as I don't need alert like tge generic "add contacts here" one. I also can't seem to find a way to make ir so when i do manage to remove something, it stays removed.
