Nest hub max is stuck on a link account screen

I just got this nest hub max I'm trying to set it up but it's stuck on a screen and telling me I need to link account in the Google Home app please help

Hi Jesse13,
 

I’m sorry to hear about what’s happening. Let’s further look into it. A few questions: were you able to complete the set up steps in the Google Home app? If not, which part of the setup are you in the Google Home app when the message to “Link account” on the display appears? Do you see the Google Nest Hub Max in the “Devices” tab?
