So when I broadcast a spoken message to other devices in the house, the nest devices start to analyse the message and then change it to a spoken message using the google voice. I know this sounds absurd and that is exactly what it is. Why on earth would you want to change a spoken message into a.... spoken message??? Which 9 out of 10 times is wrong as well!! How do I turn this 'feature' off and prevent the home devices from trying to analyse spoken broadcast messages??

Hey everyone,
Great news! I'm thrilled to inform you that the broadcasting issue has been resolved. If you're still experiencing any problems, a quick reboot of your device could help. But, if the issue persists, do let us know by updating this thread.
Cheers,
Muddi

it did "resumed to normal" couple of weeks ago but it return to the nonsense again somewhen around last month. Even someone say it's "working again" now i have entered to the point of no return as i literally throw away all my google nest hubs and cameras and other devices and change them all to Alexa and Ring products. Sad

I'm so happy that Google changed the broadcasting systems from text-to-speech back to regular voice messages. It was such a pain having to use the text-to-speech system because every time I broadcasted when it used to be the text-to-speech system I would always have to say "This is Ethan Broadcasting, [insert what you want to broadcast]. Now that it's back to normal, I can just broadcast and members in my family will know who is broadcasting by simply just listening to the broadcast. If Google changes it back to text-to-speech, then I will encourage my family members to switch to Alexa and use multiple over smart devices associated with Alexa and Amazon themselves.

Communication with customers, definitely a skill Google's got to improve.
