I understand that I can connect Bluetooth speakers to google nest however I would like to know if the Bluetooth speakers complement and be used to extend what’s playing on my home mini. In other words can both be playing at the same time? Or does Bluetooth render the mini as a microphone only while Bluetooth is connected

I am interested in this functionality. I saw this article and as I read it they make it sound like you can add a Bluetooth speaker to extend the range of your Google Next speaker. https://www.consumerreports.org/smart-speakers/how-to-make-your-bluetooth-speaker-work-like-a-smart-...
Is that correct or could someone explain to me a better way to connect my Bluetooth speaker to my Google Nest speaker?
Thanks.
