Won’t reconnect

Set up new eero system, had one before and it worked fine. Did hard reset on nest hub twice now. Still won’t connect to WiFi and is stuck on the “Link Account” page again

Hi tvanemon,

 

I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you are experiencing in setting up your Google Nest Hub. Let’s get this sorted out. How did you do the factory reset? Is your new Eero router dual-band? On which band are you trying to connect your Google Nest Hub?

 

Try these steps:

 

  • Uninstall and reinstall the Google Home app.
  • Forget and reconnect your phone to the Wi-Fi. 
  • Open the Google Home app > Devices > Scroll down to Other Cast/Local Devices and check if your Google Nest Hub is listed there. Tap on it and follow the instructions in adding it to a room.
  • If the issue persists, create a new home and proceed with the set-up.
