google nest hub stuck on loading dots

device screen is white with the google rotating dots. the device however still picks up and responds to commands, but the display appears as if its stuck loading... 

on some days it does this for 8+ hours and then goes to a black screen and on other days it does it incessantly.

i have plugged it out for entire days, for a few hours, for a few minutes etc.

i also saw on this forum that this issue has occured with others as well (on the nest max as well) and willl like to know what can be done

• When did the issue start?
• What is the current firmware version of your device?
• Have you tried resetting your Nest Hub?
