no internet connection - nest hub starts broadcasting itself

I pause internet access to some of  our devices at night. When internet access is paused to my Nest Hub, it broadcasts itself as a Wi-Fi network and allows unchallenged wifi connection.attempts. (i can’t do much connected to it, but that’s not the point)

it there anyway to prevent my nest hub from broadcasting itself as an available Wi-Fi connection every time the internet access is paused?

Is it possible it’s possessed by my high school girlfriend?  If I wasn’t taking her out, she was looking for someone, anyone who would.

Hi there,

This is normal for all Google Home and Google Nest speakers and displays. They go into a set up mode and can be seen as a WiFi network connection. This isn't a security issue and they should automatically reconnect when your WiFi network is available again.
