So I recently got myself a Google TV Streamer after buying a Chromecast with Google TV for a family member.
I've read about the new features like AI screensaver and AI summaries or even the free TV channels for it and bought it.
But I noticed that NONE of the advertised features are available here even when changing the language, updating the device or resetting it.
Not even binding Google Home to the ⭐ key works.
Now I feel like I just bought a bulkier and a little bit faster discontinued Chromecast. And there aren't even any news or announcements regarding future updates or planned features to be found.
I feel very disappointed and lied to by the marketing of the device.
Also there isn't even an option to dismiss the banner telling you to manage your services like Prime Video and so on, because I've already done it and it Is still there. And I absolutely hate the fact that I cannot get rid of having YouTube content in my recommendations despite it being uninstalled.
