I recently had a new Wi-Fi installed with a different network name I am resetting my devices to recognize the new Wi-Fi I am reinstalling/setting up an older model of Google Chrome on an extra TV which is not hooked up to my Internet cable provider ( model NC2-645 1600 ) The on screen instructions were require me to use the Google home app on my phone. Unfortunately my phone is old and I cannot download the Google home app. Is there any other way to set up his Google Chromecast device ?
No I'm afraid. Chromecast setup requires the Google Home app on a compatible iOS or Android device. Perhaps you could borrow one from a friend or family member temporarily?
