Built-in Chrome Cast not working

Hi,

I have a Hisense 43'' Android smart TV with a built-in Chromecast. I just got off a chat with them and they said to reach out to Google to see if you could help. The issue is it's not showing up on any device that I try to cast. I could connect to YouTube via the connect with TV link code. That is the only thing that works. I don't know what's going.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi PhillipC,

Do you have the Google Home  app installed on your mobile device and make sure your phone and TV with the Chromecast built in are on the same wifi network.

Let us know if you get stuck or see any error messages.

@JillG I tried to set it up in the google home app, but it's not locating my TV.

What is the model of your TV? 

Can you cast your Android screen at all to the TV? Like this: Cast your Android screen from the Google Home app - Chromecast Help
