Cannot connect cast sender device to Chromecast

Gen 2 (I think, no remote) chromecast successfully connects to network but is not visible to casting device (Pixel 7). Troubleshooting suggests AP/Client Isolation --> disabled and UPnP --> enabled

New router installed today by ISP, Centurylink C4000XG, does not appear to have an AP/Client Isolation setting in the router configuration. 

 

Confirmed UPnP enabled. 

 

Factory reset Chromecast and restarted router. No change. 

 

Chromecast successfully connects to Internet but cannot be seen by phone.

Any hope or get a different router from ISP?

Randomly started working yesterday... No action on my part. Not a super satisfying answer but the issue appears to be closed
