When casting from my Pixel 4a to Chromecast I have the phone connected via Bluetooth to an older stereo. This is done by an iWorld Bluetooth adapter connected through RCA jacks to the auxiliary input it works fine until I try to cast to the TV and Bluetooth to the receiver no sound will come out it's my phone is says it's hooked to the iWorld but no sound comes out I cannot figure this out

I am sorry, you cannot send sound through Bluetooth on your device while casting.  It is just not possible.

When you use the cast icon, you instruct the service (Netflix, YouTube, Spotify, etc) to push the video and sound  directly from their servers to your Chromecast device.  Your phone does not handle the stream so it can't pull the audio and re-direct it anywhere.  Your phone just acts as a smart-remote and gets updates.  For some services, you can even turn OFF your phone and the casting will continue because that service just keeps pushing directly to the Chromecast.

The only way to make this work would be to use one of the new Chromecast with Google TV devices (the oblong ones that come with a remote) and have that Chromecast push the audio it receives to your iWorld adapter.   Only the new CCwGTV devices can do that.  The older ones do not support connecting to Bluetooth.

In that case, the service pushes the audio and video to the Chromecast, the Chromecast pushes the video to the TV and the audio through Bluetooth.

Thank you for your reply. I'll just connect the TV to the receiver the old fashioned way, through rca jacks.👍
