Hi,
I've been casting from my MacBook Air onto my tv for years. Suddenly all I see is the small 'casting' square logo and then the Chrome browser shuts down. I've rebooted my phone/laptop/ shut down the tv, but nothing has help0ed. I've downloaded the 2 apps onto my phone (both are workout platforms that have apps as well) and have had no problems. Any ideas how to get it to cast from my Mac again or what caused this?
* No clue what generation my Chromecast is, but I am using a MacBook Air Monterey OS

I have 2 tvs where I have the same Chromecast installed. I don't have a model, but they are both black and round. I have never had an issue casting videos from my Chrome browser before.I am using Google Chrome to cast and when I did it, the small 'casting' logo was on a black screen and the browser shut down. I tried this on both tvs and got the same result. I was successful in casting the websites on the tv using my I-phone 14, but it's not as convenient as casting from my laptop. I have no problems casting Apple TV or Disney from my phone to the TV - it just is using the Chrome browser.
