ChromeCast without WIFI

I can’t seem to use my Chomecast without WIFI.  I have an IPhone and unlimited data and thought I could use that, but the instructions online suggesting going to settings on Google Home and finding the “guest” option do not come up for me. What am I doing wrong? Help!

Hello! The Google Chromecast needs Wi-Fi as it casts content locally. As an FYI, the PIN resets every 24 hours or each time the Chromecast is rebooted, whichever comes first. Also this feature does not work on a Chromecast with Google TV

I have used my Chromecast with Google tv (CWGTV) with mobile hotspot. The mobile hotspot should appear when you go to your profile --> network and settings--> wifi.   Bear in mind though, your telco might not like you using this function esp if you are consuming large amounts of data when streaming.
