Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry for the late response. Let's sort this out.
Quick questions — are you casting a video from your phone to your TV? What's the LED light status in your Chromecast? In the meantime, please reboot your Chromecast and turn off your TV completely. Plugging the Chromecast into a different HDMI port on your TV and trying on a different TV screen might also help.
