Recently, my Chromecast began to stop playing audio on the SECOND video played when cast from Google Photos. For example, I can play one video with audio, when I move to the next video the audio plays for about 3 seconds stops and does not come back. If I disconnect from the Chromecast, shut down google photos and start fresh with a video, it will again play audio for the complete video, but stop on the second video.
I can cast from apps such as Netflix and there are no audio problems. I have been trying to find a solution, but nothing works. Furthermore, I purchased a new Chromecast and after setup was complete, the same thing happened. I've checked the audio levels on my TV as well as my soundbar, nothing helps.
I'm hoping for some help with this, as it has stumped me.

Hi JPike,
I know how it feels when something isn’t working the way it should. Let’s further look into it. A few questions: what’s the iOS version of your phone? Have you tried casting videos on Google Photos from a different device? Is it doing the same behavior?

Hello Alex,
I have an iphone 14 iOS16.5.1 Although I was sure that I had tried casting with my old iphone XR and finding that it didn't work either, tried again and the videos did play as they should with audio in all of them.
Using the iphone 14, it doesn't cast properly and exhibits the symptoms I listed earlier. I have power cycled the chromecast as well as restarting the program. I've tried so many things, I can't remember them all. At this point, the videos from my phone are not casting properly in the google photos app as mentioned earlier. No Sound on the second video.
