Chromecast Connection Inconsistent

I didn't have this issue when I was using a Pixel and an older chromecast, but trying to cast from a Samsung phone means resetting the wifi connection 9/10 times. It should work that way but it's the fastest way I found to connect to a chromecast.

This was the case with a Galaxy 20 and 22 (base version).

Is there a setting in Samsung that causes this or is this a common Google issue?

• What is the model of your Chromecast device?
• What is the Chromecast firmware version?
• How far is the Chromecast from your router?
• Is the Chromecast showing any LED lights? If so, what color is it?

• Make sure your Samsung phone and Chromecast have the latest software updates.
