Chromecast Keeps Disconnecting From the Laptop screen every 5-6 minutes. It is a brand new Chromecast device with an updated laptop and stable internet what is the issue?

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. Based on your description, this seems to happen during the Cast Desktop session. Are you experiencing the same thing when casting a tab? Is it also happening when cast-enabled apps from smartphones and/or tablets are used? If this is isolated to casting a desktop screen, this is more in the Chrome browser. I suggest you give our friends at the Google Chrome Help Community a shout. They may know a particular setting that can be toggled in Chrome://flags, or they may have a workaround for this. Let us know how it goes.
