I have a Samsung TV and a chromcast and the picture works but no sound can someone please help me

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. A few questions: what Chromecast device do you have connected to your TV? Is this happening when you’re casting? If yes, are you casting from your smartphone using cast-enabled apps (Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, etc.), or are you casting from a computer using the Chrome browser?
If this is happening when casting cast-enabled apps from smartphones, then this is related to the HDMI communication between the TV and the Chromecast device. Moving to different HDMI ports or switching to another TV might help us isolate it. But if cast-enabled apps from smartphones work fine and the issue is with casting from the Chrome browser on your computer, then it can be related to the settings of the browser itself. I suggest you give our friends at the Google Chrome Help Community a shout. They may know a particular setting that can be toggled in Chrome://flags, or they may have a workaround for this. Let us know how it goes.
