Chromecast Ultra - wired or wireless connection?

Can somebody tell me whether a wired or wireless connection has priority when connecting the Ultra to two different networks?

To explain my setup:

- modem 1: wireless connection to the Ultra

- modem 2: wired connection to the Ultra

Is my setup possible at all?

If you plug into ethernet, it will always default to ethernet.
