Getting emails about someone elses Chromecast?

I keep getting emails about when someone else adds things to their Chromecast or other people join it. why would I be getting these emails?? last email was about adding a new nest deviceone before that was them allowing another person to join.

Original Chromecast device, very poor now, with the new software control and on screen menues

I am now having a lot of poor and dropped connections after years of very good experience with my original Chromecast device. Anyone else having issues? What changed?

Subtitles

Is there a way to move the volume bar ou to the center down of the screen? Or at lesst make it desaper fast. It covers the subtitles for some apps, what is really anoing, sometimes I need to pause the streaming and wait for the volume bar to go.
