Chromecast ambient mode goes black after a few minutes

I just purchased a new chromecast. When not in use the ambient mode only stays on for a couple of minutes then the screen goes black. My previous chromecast stayed in ambient mode until I started casting again. I found the settings in google home but there is no option on how long you wish to remain in ambient mode. Is there a setting somewhere that I’m just not finding? I have a Samsung tv & I’m using an iPhone.

I may have found the answer. Go into the setting and under Power Saver, you can change the duration.

@KarenZ, you can go to Settings > System > Power and Energy > When inactive, then set it to Never. Let us know if you still have questions.
