Chromecast and App F1

Greetings! We are from Brazil and we speak PT-Br. We are subscribers to the F1 app (Formula 1). When trying to watch the qualifying race today, we opened the app on our mobile device, changed the language to Pt-Br and then connected it to Chromecast. However, when we did this, it returned to the original audio (English). We tried several times. Here is the information and we await your guidance. Thank you very much.

  • What type of Chromecast device do you have?
  • Has this app worked in the past?

In response to your questions, I would like to inform you that:

1) Is this situation happening with other apps? We only use the F1 app.

2) What type of Chromecast device do you have? The Chromecast 2, second generation.

3) Has this app worked in the past? Yes, perfectly.

Thanks for your reply and the information provided. I understand that this app worked in the past. In this case, to confirm:

  • Are you using Android or iOS for casting?
  • Is your Google Home app fully updated?
  • Could you please try to reset the Chromecast device and restart your phone? Then, try casting again, and let me know how that goes.
