Chromecast audio

I'm using this to show rpg maps via TV screen. Is there a way to cast the maps from my desktop files while simultaneously play audio from YouTube also through the TV? I thought I had it working before, but this weekend it would only let me cast screen and would not play audio from a tab in the background.

I know how challenging it is when you're having issues casting to your Chromecast (2nd gen). Let's dig deeper into this. A few questions: do you have the same issues when casting different cast-enabled apps like YouTube or Spotify? Have you tried using a different device to cast like phones/tablets?

Please try these steps below:

1. Make sure that your Chromecast (2nd gen) is within 15-20 ft. away from the router to get enough signal from your network.
2. Reboot your Chromecast (2nd gen) and router by disconnecting them from the power source and leave them unplugged for 1 minute. Once done, plug them back one at a time with intervals.
