Chromecast can’t connect to wifi

Hi

we can’t get the chromecast to connect to our wifi. We can find the chromecast device on google home app but when we try to connect it to our wifi it can’t find it. 
we went on vacation and took our chrome cast with us and connected it to another WiFi and the this happened when we got home. Now the chrome cast show the WiFi we had at the vacation house. 
what can we do?

Please follow this good article when your Chromecast is not connected to Wi-Fi. There are additional steps to try to troubleshoot the issue. If the issue still persists, please try to do a factory reset on your Nest Chromecast to refresh the connection and try to add it again.
