I have had this chromecast for a while, peacock was giving me issues so I had deleted it. Once I did that, the App Store said peacock wasn’t supported for this device and then I did a factory reset and the device only showed Canadian apps and does not allow me to install peacock or anything else that is US region only

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. This message usually is related to the region/country specified on your Google Play services. You may need to check if it’s set to US. Check out this link for more information.
