Chromecast clicking noise

My chromecast has started making two clicking sounds about every 20 seconds. This is happening even when no show is playing, just on the home screen. Also happening while trying to watch shows, which is very distracting.

I tried unplugging it from outlet and then back on to hopefully reset, but that didn't solve the problem. Any ideas how to get this sound to stop?

Check the device settings, look for "system sounds" and, if available, disable system sounds.

Last resort, hard reset the device from the built-in button.

Good news, realized it was actually coming from exercise bike that is stored near the tv! Bad news, have to figure out why that is clicking 🤣

Change Chromecast WiFi bandwidth to 5 GHz.
