Chromecast device does not show up

I have gone through ALL troubleshooting steps. All of them. Restarted modem, force quit apps, restarted iPhone 14 pro max, hard reset and reinstalled my Chromecast. And still when I go to Netflix or YouTube app on my phone and play a video then click the cast button Chromecast will NOT SHOW UP as one of the listed devices for me to be able to cast. Nothing is working. Please help.

These are just some initial thoughts....
Double check that your iPhone and Chromecast or actually on exactly the same WiFi network.
Make sure your iPhone and Netflix app is up to date. 
You might need to install the Google Home app on your iPhone, make sure that is also up to date.
If you have another device (a computer with Google Chrome browser installed), you could try casting from that just to see if you can see the Chromecast.
If you know how, you could login to your modem/router interface and check that the Chromecast is connected to the WiFi.

make sure to update all of them i was also having some problem with this  website https://deutscheclub.de/ whenever i open this it does show up but now problem is solved by updating chrome

Crr2331, thanks for reaching out. That certainly hasn’t been easy for you. Let’s check out what’s going on. A few questions: What Chromecast device are we working with? When did it begin? Were there any recent changes made before it started? Give the steps below a try and let me know how it goes:

 

  1. Plug in your Chromecast into a different HDMI port on your TV.
  2. Reboot your TV and Wi-Fi router.
  3. Reset your Chromecast device.
