Chromecast device

My second generation Chromecast device will not connect with the app. The app doesn’t see it. There is no code on the TV will not set up.

My Chromecast device will not set up with the app because the app doesn’t recognize the device. It doesn’t show on the TV doesn’t connect.

  • Does the issue occur during setup or after setup is complete?
  • What's the LED light status (solid or flashing white)?
  • Can you find the list of available Wi-Fi networks in the Google Home app?
  • What's the distance between the router and the Chromecast device?
