Chromecast - how set to Bitstream format?

Want to set my Chromecast to Bitstream (disable PCM) but cannot find how on the Sound Menu

My Chromecast is the HD (use Google TV) it is connected to my Emotiva xmc-2 processor.  The xmc-2 is 'seeing' PCM constantly.  I'm trying to determine whether it is the Chromecast or the xmc-2

At this moment, based on the settings features available for the Chromecast with Google TV (HD), I found that Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital, or PCM stereo are the formats recommended to avoid audio or visual issues.
