Chromecast problems

I have my chromecast connected 

 

I also downloaded the google home app 

 

when I do search devices to add my chromecast it doesn’t show the chromecast is being recognized. On my tv screen it’s ready for setup

  • Do you have a dual-band router?
  • What type of phone are you using?
  • What color is the LED light on the Chromecast?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
