Chromecast question ‘Are you still watching’?

On regular basis I am asked a pop up wuestion ‘Are you still watching’? 
if I respond yes nothing happens and pop up doesn’t disappear.

if I ask no the channel closes down and I have to start again.

why doesn’t responding yes work?

Thanks for posting—let's get this sorted out. Just to check, are you experiencing this behavior with all cast videos and music? If not, what application are you casting?

Yes all on chromecast. How can this be fixed?

That’s odd. Try to do some troubleshooting steps. Unplug the Chromecast device from the power and the HDMI port > Turn off the TV for 10 mins > Turn back on > Plug the Chromecast device and then monitor it.
