Chromecast slowly becomes quieter until you have to manually unplug it.

If you only use 'Cast Tab' to stream to your TV, then it slowly becomes quiet. It's unfathomably stupid that I have to get up and unplug then replug my Chromecast every few hours, just so I can hear the program I'm streaming. But it is.

 

Fix this you morons. My Chromecast restarts every day yet not a single glitch I've ever seen in 10+ years has been fixed. The Chromecast team is utterly useless.

  • How often does the audio volume decrease?

  1. Check Chromecast Settings: Ensure that the audio output is set to your TV's speakers and not an external sound system.
  2. Verify that there are no volume restrictions or muting options enabled in the Chromecast settings.

nope none of those steps work. I'm not gonna jump through all those hoops to help the people who've been f*ing me raw no lube for the last 5 years. figure it out. tech workers are the absolute f* worst
