Chromecast with google TV connectivity problem

BurneyEra

I'm using 3rg Gen & NEW Chromecast DEVICE  with google TV. It installs successfully but just at he end it displays message " google Chromecast need to be allowed network access to cast on this network)". Then when I'm using Home app it displays message Cant see TV(name of my home) on this wifi network. Check that it's online & that your phone or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network". I've checked setting & I can see that my mobile & Chromecast are on the same network. I have 3GEN Chromecast which was working fine until I moved home.

I was it on  Huawei P30pro successfully previously. I tried factory reset it many times but still no use. Then I installed Home App on my new Pixel 7 & still same issue. Then I bought new Chromecast with google TV; started everything from scratch( deleting Home app & all data) but it only plays Google TV apps like YouTube but Home app is displaying message "Cant see TV(name of my home) on this Wi-Fi network. Check that it's online & that your phone or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network".

Both of my phones doing the same thing to both Chromecast devices. I even created a new google account & installed it but still the same. When I open the app I can see it say ONLINE but when I try to connect it displays the message above.

Please give me solution for this problem.

Hey there BurneyEra,

I apologize for the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that connection issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as these problems can be a bit tricky to figure out on your own. First, make sure you have Location Services enabled on your Android device:

 Open the device's Settings app.

  1. Tap Security and location.

Note: If you can't find Security and location, follow the steps for older Android versions. If you have a work profile, tap Advanced.

  1. Tap Location.
  2. Turn Use location on On.

Afterwards, make sure all devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi band, either 2.4GHz or 5GHz.

I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!

Best regards,
Jeran

Hi Jeran. I'd tried all the options but none of them worked.
