Hi. I have a tv with chromecast built in. I usually cast YouTube from my iphone to the tv. Sometimes it’ll come up saying “YouTube is not installed on tv. Install YouTube from your tvs App Store and try connecting again”. My tv doesn’t have an App Store. Usually if you try and that comes up x you disconnect, then try again and again and eventually it works. Not not anymore
I’ve gone to the Google home app and in the video section, it has Netflix, Disney, Stan, Viki, YouTube Kids, Foxtel, 9 now.
I’ve tried searching to add YouTube to the list but it doesn’t come up.
Also when you go to cast from Netflix it has two of the same tv name. It’s a guessing game every time whether it’s the top or the bottom option. If you pick the wrong one the tv opens a bright white Google Chrome page saying “404 Page not found”. I’ve deleted the tv and relinked but the same issue.
update. It has no issues casting to the tv from an iPad 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
