Configure volume buttons automatically

Hi, 

I would like to know if it is possible to automatically configure the volumen controls in remote for a speakers, since I have a PC monitor as screen and 2.1 speakers as audio. I need to configure the volumen controls in the remote to handle the volume in the speakers (they also have an IR remote control). Is it possible to configure it automatically to find the frequency of the remote of the speakers?

The best bet with your arrangement is to setup the Chromecast remote to control the Chromecast volume itself. This way you would set your speakers to the maximum volume you would want and then the remote would control the base audio level out of the Chromecast into the speakers. Doing it this way would also enable you to control the volume using your phone, tablet, or voice.
