I set up a new chromecast(gen 3) for a neighbor recently, but It has been having some internet problems. It is connected to the internet, but every now and again it pops of saying it does not have a internet connection. Afterward, it goes away and I can continue streaming. Another problem that occurs is that the google acts up, where it sometimes doesn't record what you say while holding the talk button. I believe these problems are Internet related where I need to move the router for a better connection. I am just wondering if anything else could e causing this.

Hi Clever-thinking,
Thanks for reaching out — let’s see what’s going on. Yes, it can be network related especially if the distance is greater than 10 to 15 feet (4 to 5 meters). You can also check for obstructions. Rebooting your Chromecast device and Wi-Fi router might help.
Let me know how it goes.
Thanks,
Kimy
