Hi all,
I am wondering if anybody experience battery drainage on the remote of the tv streamer. Purchased it a couple of days ago and already had to change the battery twice. Yesterday noticed it that my batteries were empty and I disconnected and reconnected and did a factory reset on the tv streamer. Just to give you a hint last night at 10 pm changed the batteries where mentioned 88% capacity, This morning at 7 am checked it again and battery was down to 57%?

Same happening to me.
Gone through about four sets of brand new batteries which I tested when I put them in with a battery meter. There were not low in the slightest bit but died in about 2 or 3 days of use in the remote.
I checked all the buttons in case the we're sticking. Left batteries your for a bit.
Tried factory resetting.
No improvement.
No firmware update available for the remote yet either. Using v1.0.0
Google support resources are written for numpties, so not much use.
Think I just got a dud remote.
Swapping it tomorrow.

He man, thanks for your response, I reached out to Google support and asked for a replacement that is currently in progress. Let's see if this is the solution. In a week time already on my 3rd set of batteries now.
