I made a slideshow on Google Slides with several static slides and some with embedded videos.
I would like to cast the slideshow from my laptop (Chrome browser) onto my TV using Chromecast.
In the past, I cast it on a loop, advancing each slide every 10 seconds, and within the presentation, I make sure that the slides with videos start automatically. No Problem!
However, since 4 weeks, the slideshow advances every 10 seconds but doesn't stop and let the videos play in their entirety. They only play for 10 seconds and then advance.
I am at a loss :(. We have re-booted the Chromecast and made sure that the Chrome browser is up-to-date. Nothing is working. Help!

I am having the same problem. It worked up until two weeks ago and all of the sudden it stopped playing the video all the way through. I have done everything I know to do and our IT person can't figure it out either.

Hi Hank1990,
Thanks for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry to hear that your Chromecast is not casting the videos on your slideshows. It's my pleasure to assist you right now.
Chromecast does not currently support casting slideshows with long videos. It can function as a media adapter, allowing you to play web material like videos and music on your television. You can also cast your screen. from another device, such as a smartphone, iPad, or laptop.
Feel free to keep us posted if you have more questions.
Best regards,
Gabriela
