We bought the latest Google remote/casting device.  At first it was fine, now it unpairs itself all the time, sometimes numerous times a day.

Hey there WickedRose,

I apologize for the late response, and thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that remote issue? If not, I'd be happy to help you figure it out. First, check if your batteries are low. If the batteries in your remote are low, they may not be able to hold a connection to your Chromecast. Replace the batteries with fresh ones and see if that fixes the issue. Then, check if there is interference between your remote and your Chromecast. If there is something between your remote and your Chromecast, like a metal object or a thick wall, it may be causing interference and preventing the remote from holding a connection. Try moving your Chromecast and remote closer together and see if that fixes the issue. Finally, go ahead and restart the Chromecast, and this can fix minor issues as well.

I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know.

Best regards,
Jeran
