Devices connected to your primary Wi-Fi network cannot communicate with devices on your guest Wi-Fi network by default, that's a security feature and by design. Normally, you would connect your all your Google devices to your primary Wi-Fi network, not the guest network.

Hi David, thanks for taking time to respond,  all my devices google related are on guest network in my house and the office, that way guests can cast etc...my issue is that i have to be 4 metres away from chromecast tv device thats physically in my office a seperate building before its recognised, and vice versa when im in office 4 metres away from physical device Nest Hub,  this is located in kitchen of my house) i can only cast to it when im in office...not sure if that offers any further help to problem im experiencing...

You don't need to do that, you can have them connected to your primary network and go in the guest Wi-Fi network settings in the Google Home app to share those devices with devices connected to your guest network.

What's the layout of your Wifi network? Is it all Google Wifi points? Are you using any other non-Google repeaters or extenders? Does the mesh test show good connectivity?
