I have two voice remotes, one will control the volume on my Hisense tv, the other remote will not set up, says unable to control volume on this tv. Anyone know how to get around this? The Down button on my working remote stopped working so i need to get this working for my sanity. Thanks

Try these steps:

If you don't see your brand of TV listed, unfortunately, it would be impossible for Google to list absolutely every TV brand/manufacturer. You can use some trial and error by selecting the other manufacturer's listed. Alternatively, try a Google search or see if they have forums to see if someone else may have found one that works for your brand of TV.

Yes, my brand Hisense was listed. My other remote works fine so i don’t know why this other one doesn’t.

Hi Tasteeone,
Understood. Try to remove the Voice Remote batteries, and then while you reinsert the batteries, check if the LED blinks. If the LED doesn’t turn on, replace the batteries with new 1.5 V AAA batteries.
