Issues with Google streamer (tested on Samsung TV supporting HDR10+) even after August 2025 security patch
1. HDR10+ does not work at all on VP9 codec
2. HDR10+ does not work properly on X265 hybrid Dolby vision/HDR10+ files. Screen keeps blinking and HDR keeps switching between HDR and HDR10+ every second. (however, hybrid files works as HDR10+ with H265 codec)
3. HDR10+ metadata is not processed on HDR10+ files. (Tested this with lake HDR10+ video, it displays HDR10+ logo while playing it but video doesn't change as per metadata). Maybe Streamer plays it in just HDR10 only.
I have already shared feedback using google home app but have not got any reply and the same is not incorporated with the latest update.
