I just got a new router and I’m unable to connect to Chromecast? Called router company and they were unable to help me. I’m not tech savvy. They told me I need to redo my chromecast? Not sure what they mean? Please help if you can?

@Sueviolet, I wanted to follow up and see if you are still in need of any help. Have you had the chance to try the suggestion above? If yes, how is it? By the way doing the factory reset will revert your Chromecast to its default and original settings, you need to set it back up once the reset is done.
