I really don't know what to say....
After spending hours on support chat, someone eventually told me my devices were out of warranty... so tough luck.
Google "fixed' a problem that was entirely of their own creation and their fix immediately broke my all my cast devices. Hundreds of dollars of hardware just got turned into garbage and no one will even address it. How can it be that they issue an update to fix the chromecast and then I lose all casting ability through my house?
If I can't figure something out to salvage this dumpster fire, I am never going to purchase a google product again, will be cancelling all my google subscriptions, ditch my 20 year old email account, and evangelize the incompetence and poor performance of Google to every person that will listen to me.
