Hey there luisg6335,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having some trouble mirroring your Android screen. This can be hard to troubleshoot on your own, so I'd be happy to help you out. First, what version of Android are you using? Here is some useful information to know before you can screen mirror:

  • Cast screen is available on devices that run Android 6.0 or higher.
  • Screen casting via the Google Home app is not supported on Windows devices.
  • To start screen casting, Power Saving Mode must be turned off.
    • Power Saving Mode can limit the processing power of Android devices which might affect the performance of the Cast screen feature.
  • The customer must allow Google Cast to use their network information.

Android 12
Google Nest and Home speakers or displays and Chromecast devices may not be discoverable for mobile devices on Android 12.

During the setup, your mobile device may ask you to "Allow Google Cast to use your network information."
Go to Settings and then Use network information Onand then Continue

You also have the option to select Not now, but if you select this option, you can’t continue with the setup.

I look forward to your response, and if you had any other questions or concerns, please let me know.

Best regards,

Jeran
