Movies, Google, Chromecast

I tried many times to project movies from various sites on Google Chrome but it doesn't work, it just shows me the screen mirroring logo and that's it.

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry that you're unable to cast any movies from sites using Google Chrome. I understand how frustrating this can be. Help's here.

Before I begin, I need to ask a few questions for further assistance:

  • What is the make and model of your computer?
  • What type of Chromecast do you have?
  • Are you using the updated version of the Google Chrome browser?
  • What operating system (OS) do you use?
  • Have there been any changes in your network?
  • Did this previously work, or did the situation begin recently?
  • Are you able to cast previously from your computer to the TV?
  • How far is your Chromecast from the router?
  • Do you have a dual-band router?
  • Is your computer connected to the same WiFi network as your Chromecast?
  • Are you able to cast from other devices to the Chromecast?
  • Are you getting any antivirus warning on your computer when you try to cast?
