My Chromecast with google tv keeps on restarting by itself

My chromecast keeps on restarting. Did hard restart but still persists.

I'm sorry to hear your Chromecast keep restarting! I can imagine that is pretty frustrating if you're watching movies, so I'd be happy to help out. First, I would recommend that you update your Chromecast's firmware. Then, make sure the Chromecast is powered by a wall outlet, and not a USB port on the TV. Finally, if it keeps occurring, see what color the LED light on the Chromecast looks like when this happens, and let me know.
