Nord VPN login

Hello,

I am abroad from my country and I have got nord VPN to watch contents from home.

The VPN works perfectly on the phone and on, for example, fire stick on the TV in the other room.

I have downloaded the nord vpn app in the chromecast, it installs correctly but when trying to log in it idle and eventually gives messages of error; so in the end I cannot connect to the VPN.

No way to fix it.

Can anyone help me?

Hello @Paolo_ialongo ,

Thanks for posting. Chromecast devices don't support the use of VPN's. It may previously work, however it is still recommended to be connected to a home WiFi network where the VPN setting is disabled in the Wi-Fi router for you to be able to set it up and use again.

The reason for this is it can cause an issue to the Chromecast to communicate properly with the wireless router. That is why it is recommended to have this disabled in the Wi-Fi router.
