Hi,

When manufactures use the Google cast protocol in their products they are responsible for pushing out updates to their devices.

Google releases firmware updates they test them first and then push it to their customers.

Please contact your device manufactures support.

Hey there!

We haven't heard back from Niteshsingh, and it's been a few days, so I'm locking the thread. As always, feel free to make a new thread if you have any more questions or concerns.

Thank you for your help, Cathal and Jennifer!

I was always able to use radio app on Google Hub Max but no longer working. I prompt it to play like I've always done & it responds saying it will start & either doesn't or plays for a few minutes & stops. Tried so many troubleshooting suggestions I've found online & still no luck. I'm wondering if there's a glitch & I just need to wait for a fix? It will play if I open the radioapp & cast to the Hub so that's my workaround but much simpler to be able to use voice commands like I've always been able to do. It'll respond to voice request to play music from Spotify, just no longer likes playing radio for some reason. Have turned on/off, reset device, removed from Home app & re-added. No luck. Located Australia.

There are a few duplicate threads for this one, but its definitely not just you.. its an issue that was present for a large chunk of 2024, was resolved eventually but its happening again sadly.. hoping for an easier fix this time...

Thank you for taking the time to respond & let me know it isn't just me 😊 Can you put links to duplicate threads as I searched prior to adding mine to prevent double up but couldn't find any. I gather no resolution posted anywhere? Do we just wait & one of these days, the voice command will start working again?
